How do we collect information from you? If you communicate with us or book to come to one of our conferences you will be the one telling us. We will only accept personal data about you from someone else in exceptional circumstances. For example: If you are under eighteen and your parent’s book your place. When you e-mail us, we collect the information that you care to share.
What type of information is collected from you? Personal information which might include your name, address, age, email address, phone number, IP address. If you’re booking for a young person then we will need the details of the person you’re booking for. Because conferences are residential some sensitive personal information may be required for example special medical or dietary needs.
How is your information used? Primarily to contact you and keep in touch and arrange accommodation. We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will only hold your personal information for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity or as long as legally required. Who has access to your information? Only those members of Truth 4 Youth with whom you have contact will have access to the information. It may be necessary to pass dietary needs to the catering staff at the conference venue but before this is done we will ask your permission. How you can access and update your information? The accuracy of your information is important to us. If you change any contact details, please tell us. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you. Just ask and we will arrange things for you.
