To teach the whole counsel of God, to
young people from 11yrs, up to 30yrs of age.
To explain the Gospel clearly and pray
that 'their eyes would be opened, so that they may turn from
darkness to light, and from the dominion of Satan, to God, in
order that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an
inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in
Jesus'.
To develop a spiritual relationship
between parents and young people under 18yrs, with shared
teaching. This would include teaching on relationships,
honouring parents, and learning to study the Word of God
together.
To teach young people to discern the
true from the false. The truth will be illuminated, and
when error is exposed it will be replaced by sound doctrine.
'But he who is spiritual, appraises all things'.
To teach sound doctrine to 18 - 30yr
olds, with separate teaching, to challenge and encourage 'so
that they may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him
in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and
increasing in the knowledge of God'. To help them to stand
firm in their faith, and to 'always be ready to make a defence
to everyone who asks them to give an account, for the hope that
is in them'.
To provide fellowship for discerning
young adults.
Dr Jobe Martin
Dr Jobe Martin
graduated from the Pittsburgh Dental School in 1966. After
spending 2 years in the United States Air Force where he was
seconded to the fleet of President Lyndon Johnson, he
established a private dental practice at NASA in Houston, Texas,
eventually joining the staff of Baylor College of Dentistry in
1971.
In 1982 he felt
the need to discover the Truth and after 4 years of
training he graduated from the Dallas Theological Seminary.
Jobe founded the
Biblical Discipleship Ministry and has an international
ministry. He teaches on Creationism, the family and
marriage amongst other topics.
Jobe has a heart
for young people and as Patron of Truth 4 Youth he is a frequent
speaker at the Conferences and author of 'The Evolution of a
Creationist'.
He is married to
Jenna Dee who is a constant source of support and they have two
daughters Tarryn and Mirren.
